Hotels Beijing China Tip – Today, I will be reviewing five star hotels in Beijing which I have not stayed before. However, I have taken the time to cull reasonably-balanced information and comments from my friends who have stayed there.

Let’s start with Grand Hotel Beijing. Now, let me give you a brief introduction of the hotel first.

Grand Hotel Beijing is one of the several five star hotels that boastof 217 rooms furnished with Chinese sculptures, paintings andfurniture, the Grand Beijing hotel is located is located nearby Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Wang Fu Jing Shopping Street.

The hotel is well equipped with all the facilities a deluxe hotel hasto offer, your stay at Grand Hotel Beijing may be the highlight of yourtrip! Note: Average price tag – US$420.

Positive Comments -

“I love the hotel! With all the Chinese art all over the hotel, it differentiates itself from the rest of the five star hotels n Beijing. There is a 3-story tall painting that is a national treasure with a value of over $1.5 million in the lobby. Unbelievable!”

“Top marks for location! Being just next door to Forbidden city,Tiananmen Square and to the main shopping area of Wang Fu Jing Street,it’s really convenient!”

“The fantastic view of the Forbidden City/ Tiananmen Square from the balcony and the outside rooftop bar is breathtaking!”

“Excellent housekeeping！They were attentive without disturbing my privacy as I was having my second honeymoon. My wife and I also had a wonderful international buffet dinner, especially slurping the fresh oysters non-stop. It helped a lot during the night. Ha-ha!”

Negative Comments –

“The hotel needs to do something about the staff level of conversational English. They are still not ready to handle questions posed in English which irks me when I am in a rush to get something done.”

“I had brownish-colored water coming out of my shower! Disappointing when I am paying 5 star rates here!”
